ILAB "Pop Up" Book Fairs for UNESCO World Book and Copyright Day

WHEN: Saturday April 23 2016, noon to 5pm

WHERE: West Linn Public Library, 1595 Burns St, West Linn, OR

For 24 hours on April 23, 2016 ILAB book fairs will "pop up" across the world to celebrate the UNESCO World Book and Copyright Day.  Oregon bookseller affiliates of the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers will present a display and sale of antiquarian books, maps and ephemera to highlight the cultural heritage of the book and the importance of literacy.  Bring that book that you are curious about for a verbal appraisal (limit two per person).

ADMISSION:  Free.  Donations will be accepted throughout the event to fund UNESCO literacy programs providing native-language books to school children in South Sudan.   Call 503-234-3538 for further information.
