Edgewear and sun tanning to covers, faint stain from water exposure to upper margins, uppermost staple has rusted; overall good condition. This beginner's guide to the etching process describes mezzotints, aquatints, printing, and so on. This copy is signed and dated (October 1936) by Betha E. Jaques on the verso of the frontispiece. Jaques (1863 - 1941) was the founder and Secretary of the Chicago Society of Etchers, and the booklet is illustrated with her work. Item #56979
