Boards heavily worn and detached (together with free endpapers and last two pages); spine lacking (text block still tightly bound); inscription to title page; light age toning and occasional foxing throughout; offset from engravings to adjacent pages; foxing, misfolding and edgewear to unprotected first map including tears up to 3/8 inch; all other maps have been protected and are in good condition.
