Engraving on laid paper with original handcolor by the artist, sheet size 14 1/2 x 21 inches. Few chips to edges of sheet, well outside the image area; overall very good condition, clean and bright. From the first, large folio, edition of "The British zoology" by T. Pennant, with exquisite portraits of birds by the artist Peter Paillou (ca. 1720-1790).
