FIVE color prints (of an original set of twelve) hand colored collotypes in original folder. Each image measures approximately 16 1/2 x 12 1/4 inches on sheet 23 1/2 x 18 1/2 inches. Folder worn with multiple tears, split spine, and library stamp and label. Soft vertical crease to December print, age toning and tiny creasing to sheet edges; overall very good condition. Each print has "Feb 6 1945" stamped on the back. These richly handcolored reproductions of engravings from Robert Furber's series "Twelve Months of Flowers" are vintage 1945 prints from the Dietz Press at Williamsburg Richmond Virginia. As such they have a softer, deeper coloration than more recent issues and are more authentic to the originals in coloration and paper. The folder title reads: Willamsburg Restoration Reproduction of Eighteenth Century Floral Prints. Twelve Prints - Flowers of the Season from The Wythe House, Williamsburg, Virginia.
