Light soiling and foxing, address labels to front covers, subscription creases to some magazines, staples somewhat rusted; overall good condition. Five color cover illustrations depict hardy American military men; the other two depict children. The cover artists are James Montgomery Flagg (creator of Uncle Sam), Norman Rockwell, Orson Lowell, Emil Flohri, and William T. Van Dresser.
