Grouping of SEVEN handcolored wood engravings, each sheet 7 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches, accompanied by text page from original volume. Light age toning to edges, a few faint marks; clean and bright condition overall. Charming selection of the flowers of field and tree which would make a striking and simple wall display. Francis Orpen Morris was an Irish clergyman and naturalist who collaborated with the printer Benjamin Fawcett and the artist Alexander Francis Lydon to produce popular volumes on natural history.
