TWO ISSUES, black and white illustrations, 14 x 11 inches, in color pictorial wrappers as issued. 1907 issue has undulation to paper at lower right throughout but no staining; 1917 issue has wear, light discoloration, short tears and creasing to front cover. Interiors in good condition. Two nice covers by well known illustrators of the period; also a very striking full color Cream of Wheat ad "Preparedness" on the inside front cover of the 1917 issue (some five months after the US entered the war in Europe) showing Uncle Sam enjoying a bowl of Cream of Wheat.
