Scrap book belonging to a little girl named Doris Kay Greenland, containing holiday cards and birthday cards from infancy onward. Unpaginated; contains 30 sheets, the first 21 of which have color cards and Christmas present labels pasted to both sides, the other sheets not used; stiff card covers covered with leather-like paper; bound with cord through two holes; 13 x 10 1/2 inches. Rubbing and a bit of white paint to covers, toning to paper within, 3 sheets detached from binding, 2 cards detached from sheets; good condition overall. Approximately 90 to 100 cards, including four cards with small age badge (for 1 year, 4 years, 5 years and 'a year older.') A charming collection of vintage cards for Valentine's Day, Christmas, Easter, birthdays, birth of a baby and other occasions. Of particular interest is a Disney card 'Mickey says Merry Christmas.' A letter "to my dear little name-sake" is dated April 6, 1942. Offers a glimpse of the 1940s childhood aesthetic. Item #56035
