Volume, size 18 1/2 x 13 1/2 inches with half leather marbled paper covered boards, contains issues from January through June, 1869. NOT BOUND IN: January 1, 8, 22, and February 12, (pages 1-41, 57-72, 105-120). Very good condition with occasional foxing. Also bound in: Index and Table of Contents to Volume 20 (January-December 1869), plus pages 789-828, December 11, 18, and 25, 1869. Index to illustrations and departments at front of volume. A most interesting collection of vintage illustrated newspapers with focus on a wide range of topics, with copious advertising at rear. Many columns on Hygienic Information (Cure For Corns, Poisons, Pure Cold Air - It's not dangerous to breath it, etc). March 12 article on the Broadway Pneumatic Tunnel. March 19 article "A Six Thousand Dollar Farm House, with floor plan." February 26, April 9, May 21, and June 4 articles on Meteorology and cloud classification.
