Color folding pictorial / pictographic map, 18 x 15 inches, folding as issued to 3 3/4 x 6 inches. Accompanied by the book "Tourist in Denmark", illustrated in black and white with additional color foldout map "Traffic Guide Map of Copenhagen and Suburbs" (12 x 8 1/4 inches) bound into volume, 224 pages, 6 3/4 x 4 3/4 inches. Pictorial map has original printer's crease at one fold intersection; overall excellent condition. 1/2 inch tear to left margin of smaller foldout map, penetrating neatline; dust jacket of book split at spine with several tears and some chipping to extremities (currently held in place by book jacket cover); book interior in excellent clean condition. The Esso pictorial map shows landmarks in towns and cities all over Denmark, which can be looked up under "Places of Interest" in the book. The book is illustrated throughout and provides practical information about traveling in Denmark as well as tourist highlights. A translation of a friendly publication for the Danish traveler, who is clearly intended to get around by bus and train. The introduction stresses that no one has paid for the insertion of any information. Item #55733
