Volume XVIII. No. 1. Illustrated monthly news and humor magazine, 14 x 10 1/2 inches, 34 pp. including covers, featuring a colorful illustrated article devoted to the painter Thure De Thulstrup. Also featured is the palatial home of George J. Gould at Lakewood, New Jersey, "one of the most notable homes in America," a creation of the architect Bruce Price, noted for numerous elegant "cottages" in Tuxedo Park. A full-page color illustration features actress Maude Adams in a role she made famous, Lady Babbie, in J. M. Barrie's "The Little Minister" while an article titled "London Society in the Last Century" focuses on actor, dramatist and manager David Garrick. Covers of the magazine are detached with some paper loss to spine, few short edge tears to covers, good, clean, condition. Not present is the supplement advertised on the front cover. Item #55726
