Large color lithographic map, 26 x 19 1/2 inches on sheet size 32 x 27 inches, folding to 8 x 7 inches. Three 1 to 2 inch splits at folds, faint soiling in margins, several city names have been neatly underlined, overall good condition. On the verso is a brightly colored Relief Map of India. Extremely detailed lithographic map of the pre-Partition Indian sub-continent with two small inset maps showing part of Burma and Baluchistan. Through Routes, Other Main Roads, and Motorable Roads Subject to Weather are marked. "Relief Map of India" on verso includes Railway Lines, Canals, Steamer Routes, Rivers, Air Routes, Navigable Canals, and Broadcasting Stations. Item #55647
