Weekly illustrated news magazine, 16 x 11 1/2 inches, pp. 65-96 (incomplete - missing 67-70, likely Lenin related) plus 4 pp. front and rear covers. Full-page black and white map titled "Where Will the Storm Break? The Big French Front." Two photo-illustrated pages of "The British Entry into Jerusalem." Two full-pages illustrating aircraft: "Naval Aircraft Lighter than Air" (Blimps, etc.) and "Naval Aircraft Heavier than Air" ("Fighting One-Seater," "Sopwith Scout 1-Seater," etc.). Double-page centerfold depicts "Types of Aircraft for 1917" including "Sopwith Camel," "de Havilland 4," "Handley Page," and eleven other aircraft. Another full-page illustration depicts "Recent Types of German Aircraft," including the "Friedrichshafen Bomber." Another photo-illustrated full-page gives focus to "Hustle Bustle in American Shipyards." Abrasions to free edge of three rear pages; covers and first two / last several pages detached from magazine. Despite these problems, magazine overall in good clean condition. Unsigned articles focusing on diverse engagements of the War in Europe, 1917-1918, with emphasis on aircraft. Black and white photo-illustrated throughout, with accompanying cartographic plates. Item #55627
