Time-table, 9 1/4 x 8 1/4 inches folding as issued to 9 1/4 x 4 inches, for Vancouver Island's Esquimalt and Nanaimo Railway, October 1944. Map on rear panel shows the route of the railroad from Victoria north to Parksville Junction, where the line splits, with one branch travelling westward to Port Alverni and the other terminating at Courtenay to the north. Timetable shows two trains a day (except Sundays), one headed north from Victoria (with branch service provided between Parksville Junction on the main line to Port Alberni} and the other headed south to Victoria from Courtenay (again, with branch service linking Port Alberni to Parksville Junction). An uncommon item, with small advertising panels for Canadian Pacific services: Hotels, Air Lines, and Telegraph Services. Light foxing to front cover; creasing to corners, horizontal fold across middle; 1/4 inch tear to each end of horizontal fold, not penetrating neatline. Overall good condition. Item #55611
