Vintage brochure illustrated in blue and white, 20 pages, 9 x 4 inches, featuring descriptive text and six full-page maps giving focus to the southern-most portions of Vancouver Island. The largest of the six maps is the double-page map of Victoria and Environs (8 x 9 inches dated 1939) featuring streetcar and bus routes. Brochure contains copious advertising for businesses, chiefly in the Victoria area, with terrain furthest from Victoria identified as 137 miles distant. Cover of brochure depicts six regions of the island shown in the individual maps. The brochure is a useful guide for the automotive tourist; very good clean condition overall.
