First item: Color pictorial map of Cairo, 23 1/4 x 21 1/4 inches folding into 16-page booklet with stiff card covers, 8 1/4 x 4 3/4 inches. 11 x 6 3/4 inset map shows wider region. Wear to covers, 2 major tears (up to 4 inches) to left edge of map where it attaches to the booklet, small (up to 1/4 inch) separations to multiple fold intersections; otherwise good condition. Second item: Booklet, printed in black and red, 20 pages, 6 1 /4 x 4 1/2 inches with each sheet folding out an additional 3 inches. Text in English and Arabic. Includes pictorial map, 6 x 7 1/2 inches. Very good clean condition. Tourist Map of Cairo gives names of districts and major mosques and museums, along with railways and tramways. The booklet provides a very short history of Cairo in English, French and German, followed by the addresses of embassies, hotels, clubs, mosques ("the most important") and so on. No date is given. Cairo This Week event guide provides tourist information in several categories: Sightseeing & Museums, Embassies, Steamship and Travel Agencies, Airlines, and Communications and General Information.
