The Mucha cover is taped in two places at the lower left spine, with the tape just entering the image; there are several short tears to the margins in just one case entering the image, light creasing to the left edge of the image. Tears and creasing to the back cover, interior good condition (lower corners folded over). An uncommon handsome Art Nouveau style cover illustration by Alphonse Mucha, who was commissioned by Hearst's Magazine to produce 12 cover designs at the time of his Slav Epic exhibition in Chicago. Stories include "One Dance After Another" by Owen Johnson with illustrations by James Montgomery Flagg, "The Secret Places of the Heart" by H. G. Wells illustrated by Howard Chandler Christy.
