Promotional brochure for the Crystal Garden, an adjunct of the Empress Hotel in Victoria B.C., built by the Canadian Pacific Line and opened to the public in 1925. The 6 x 7 inch brochure opens to 12 x 14 inches and features on the front cover a color image of the Garden's spectacular swimming pool, 150 feet long and 40 feet wide, and a color view of the Empress Hotel on the rear cover. The Crystal Garden contained an Art Gallery, two Dance Floors featuring the Crystal Garden Orchestra, a Prominade, a Gymnasium, and the extraordinary swimming pool. Princess Steamships provided service from Vancouver and Seattle.
