2nd Edition. Brochure 6 x 3 1/2 inches unfolding to a two-sided map 12 1/4 x 10 1/4 inches. One side shows the 8th Avenue route from 14th St. to 59th St., running parallel to the I.R.T. 9th Avenue Elevated line. An underground passage links the new line at 42nd St. to Times Square and the I.R.T. Queensboro line as well as the I.R.T. Shuttle to Grand Central Terminal. On verso is a map showing the Eighth Avenue Subway System (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens) with Express Stations distinguished from Local Stations. Light soiling, 1/4 inch splits to two fold intersections; overall very good condition. An uncommon piece of NYC Transport history--approximately 87 years old!
