Chicago. The Reilly & Britton Company. 1911.
Hard-cover World Atlas with color pictorial front cover, 15 x 10 1/2 inches; 192 pages; hinges starting to come loose with rear free endpaper detached. Full-color maps of the individual states or territories are the primary feature of the Atlas. They are chiefly depicted on a single page, although two are double-page maps: Texas and California. These suffer from askew alignment between the two individual pages. World maps at rear tend to be small, with the larger ones also suffering from alignment issues from one page to the next. Most of the maps are attractively colored and in good clean condition (short tear in the Wyoming/Montana map with condition issues impacting Idaho/Washington and Oregon/California maps). The coloration of several maps might be regarded as lurid. Overall, the U.S. maps are in good clean condition, with exceptions noted above. Item #55224
