Corners bumped, small loss of fabric bottom of free edge of front cover; spine cloth puckered; hinges are split and just holding on with cloth, front free endpaper is loose. Contents in very good clean condition. The Introductory pages of the Atlas provide color maps of "The World," "The Hemispheres," "The Solar System," "Divisions of Standard Time in US," "Population Chart of the World," "The Polar Regions," etc. Attention is next given to North America, Alaska, Canada, and a double page map of the U.S. followed by the Atlas' primary focus: color maps of the individual states and territories, many on tipped-in double pages. These maps in excellent condition, bright and clean. Atlas concludes with maps of Europe, Asia and Central Asia, Africa, India, Egypt etc., Australia, Polynesia; also maps focusing on the Territorial Growth of the United States and text columns focusing on the Political History of the country.
