Color pictographic / pictorial map, 27 3/4 x 24 2/3 inches, folding into stiff card cover 7 3/4 x 5 inches, multiple fold as issued. Light wear to extremities of card cover; map in very good unused condition with crisp fold lines. Highly decorative yet informative street map gives a bird's eye view of major roads and urban blocks, with individual depictions of important buildings. Attention is also paid to the surrounding countryside, with markings to indicate elevation. Some original points of settlement are marked: German Colony, Greek Colony, American Colony, Russian Compound, etc. Text on verso provides an index and lists of principal quarters and streets, as well as key dates in the history of Jerusalem. Front of card cover has color photograph pasted on; back lists suggested tours. Item #55209
