December 1926 complete issue of the Delineator with color cover by Helen Dryden. Illustrated in color and black and white, 108 pages, 14 x 11 inches. Multiple short tears to cover edges and spine, 1 inch tear with paper loss to head of spine, light soiling to covers, front cover mostly detached. Interior in generally good condition, though someone has chosen to highlight a few illustrations with festive red and green crayon. The article "The Other Wise Man" by Henry Van Dyke is illustrated with "interpretive decorations by the distinguished English artist Edmund Dulac" (free from crayon). Other illustrators include Bernard B. De Monvel (for an A. A. Milne poem), Joseph Simont, W. T. Benda, Charles D. Mitchell, and more. Articles cover fashion domestic affairs, accompanied by several short stories and elegant period advertising.
