In general, the contents are in good condition with some of the usual issues of a newspaper volume including a horizontal crease from folding for delivery, wear and short tears to edges etc. There are a number of torn pages; the fold-out view of Philadelphia (May 27, 1876 Supplement), a foldout supplement, is missing two of the four panels, January 27 Nast cartoon is missing half the sheet. The volume is an oddity, with many tipped-in centerfolds in good condition.
