June 1911 complete issue of the magazine, color pictorial paper wrappers as issued, illustrated throughout in color and black and white, 76 pages, 16 1/4 x 11 1/4 inches. Multiple tears to spine and small tears to right edge of front cover, with little paper loss at lower corner; tears to several interior pages. Page 25/26 has been removed. The cover has three pencil marks in the lower left area, hardly noticeable. Many beautifully illustrated advertisements for clothing and domestic goods, as well as articles, advice, and fiction. The color cover illustration of yellow roses was painted by noted artist Paul de Longpre. Features include: "An Intimate View of the King and Queen of Great Britain", the short story "When Patty Went to Boarding School", a discussion of co-education and its influence on girls, book reviews by Hamilton W. Mabie, a six-page color fashion spread, and much more. Of great interest to historians, costume designers and graphic designers; lovely decor highlight in an older home. Item #55018
