Brochure 10 ½ x 4 ¼ inches opening to a colorful map 23 ½ x 17 inches featuring those highways "serving the cities most visited by tourists and the motoring public." With this objective in mind, the map focuses chiefly on highways in northern and eastern Mexico. The map's pictorial elements illustrate oil regions, industry, wildlife, agriculture, cathedrals, recreational opportunities, etc. The map is in very good clean condition. Small road signs pictured at the bottom of the map are translated for the benefit of the English-speaking traveler. Map in very good clean condition. An uncommon vintage pictorial map. Three WorldCat listings for "Principal Highways of Mexico" (title on map) have been found, but dating the map is problematic, hence the following listing: "19??" Item #54979
