Tourist booklet illustrated with photographs and 8 color poster designs, the work of Leonard Cornwall Mitchell. Booklet is 8 ¼ x 5 ¼ inches and 48 pages, with the last page consisting of a black and white map of New Zealand's North and South Islands. Mileage information indicates distance from Melbourne and Sydney in Australia as well as from Vancouver B.C., San Francisco, and Panama. Much descriptive information centers on the South Island and the attractions of its west coast, while abundant useful information is also provided regarding North Island. The population of Auckland, "a fine modern city," is given as 214, 200 persons and particular attention paid to the North Island's "various thermal centres," especially Rotorua. The booklet is in excellent clean condition. An unusual tourist item with excellent black and white photographic illustrations and 8 color reproductions of poster art signed by L. C. Mitchell.
