Bath, England. John Lee & Son for Mendip Press. Circa 1947?
Folded black and white map of Bath and vicinity in heavy paper wraps (6 ½ x 5 inches) unfolding to 24 x 29 ½ inches. Prominent on the map are the lines of the London, Midland and Scottish Railway as well as the Great Western Railway and the Somerset and Dorset Joint Railway, indicating that the map was produced prior to the nationalization of the country's rail lines on 1 January 1948, with the lines above becoming part of British Railways. Code at lower left corner of map reads 9247 (hence 1947 likely date of publication). Map, offering sharp delineation of the region, in very good clean condition. No WorldCat listing has been found.
