Volume 2, No. 4. Poster, two sided, sheet 35 x 47 inches, folded to 9 x 12 inches as issued. Wear along three outside folds of the Occupation side; otherwise very good condition. One side of the poster is a two-color map of the world with text box "Major Bases Proposed for Postwar U.S. Navy..." which are marked on the map with white circles. Beneath the map is a photo illustration "First U.S. Occupation Forces March Down Tokyo Street" and a map of Japan with the title "Japan: American Troops Invest the Enemy Homeland." The other side is a dramatic image "The United States Marines", a large color illustration by "N. Sickler (?) OP16 Navy Department", of Marines in battle; beneath this is descriptive text and illustrations of the battles at Lake Champlain 1776, Tripoli 1805, Santiago 1898 and Belleau Wood 1918.
