Six souvenir booklets promoting Hollywood blockbuster films of the late 50s and early 60s illustrated with color photos or artwork. The films, in date sequence, are: "The Robe" (1953) with Richard Burton and Jean Simmons, directed by Henry Koster; "Gigi" (1958) with Leslie Caron and Louis Jourdan, directed by Vincente Minelli; "A Farewell to Arms" (1957) with Rock Hudson and Jennifer Jones, directed by Charles Vidor; "Can-Can" (1960) with Frank Sinatra and Shirley Maclaine, directed by Walter Lang; "Spartacus" (1960) with Kirk Douglas, Laurence Oliver, and Jean Simmons, directed by Stanley Kubrick; "How the West Was Won" (Cinerama 1962) with Gregory Peck, John Wayne, Debbie Reynolds and many many more; directed by Henry Hathaway, John Ford, and George Marshall (spotting to front cover). Several booklets have modest paper loss along spine, all have owner’s signature writ large on front cover. A trove of nostalgia to dump in the lap of the geriatric film-lover consumed with the notion that "they don’t make ‘em like they used to." Item #54485
