TWO hand colored engravings, each image 6 x 7 3/4 inches on two sheets 7 1/2 x 9 1/4 inches. The only text on the sheets is Ver Gegenstaende CCLXIV and CCLXV at upper left and Melanges with the same number at upper right. One image names the engraver Th. Goetz at lower right. Toning to the right edge of one sheet, overall very good clean condition. Two striking images, bird's eye views of a high, mountainous and green country with snowy range in the distance. In the foreground are small groups of travellers (two groups in one image; one group in the other). The landscape is rendered in a most appealing, somewhat primitavist style with rich coloring. Our research has failed to come up with the publication in which these prints appeared. Item #54232
