A very busy week for touring theatrical productions coming through Portland, Oregon. November 5th and 6th featured August Thomas' "powerful play 'Arizona'"; the 8th and 9th brought "Miss Alice Johnson in ‘The Marriage of Kitty’"; the 10th and 11th featured Roselle Knott in "When Knighthood Was in Flower" with Ogden Stevens (a clipped newspaper review is included). Anticipating the week beginning November 13, "The Georgia Minstrels" ("well-known colored artists") are announced for Monday, while Harry Mestayer ("the clever young actor) and company with Ibsen’s "Ghosts" is announced for three nights, beginning November 14. As the program makes clear, the "name" players coming to the Marquam provided Portland audiences with a variety of theatrical entertainment. Item #54128
