Other features in the magazine include a comic short story by Montague Glass titled "The Fly in the Ointment--Potash & Perlmutter Hire a Crackerjack, But--," a very early appearance of Glass's comic duo. An advertisement 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 inches, with Glass's text on verso, has been cut from magazine. Cover art is by Harrison Fisher. Center pages separated from staple binding; overall very good clean condition with issues noted. Frohman writes that English audiences are less cosmopolitan than those in the US: "in England it is only the English drama that flourishes...; it is doubtful whether foreign indifference to our plays or players can ever be wholly overcome."
