Verso of map includes detailed map of La Jolla 17 x 11 inches, small maps of "Business District" and "Mission Beach," and a 17 x 22 inch pictorial map by Wallace Hamilton (dated 1935) detailing San Diego in the context of Southern California, extending from the border with Mexico to the south, Yuma, Arizona to the east, Los Angeles to the north, and Needles to the northeast. Pictorial inserts on map depict Mission San Diego, Balboa Park, Broadway Waterfront, Fishing on Coronado Island, Junipero Serra Museum, and many more sites of interest. Additional information is provided in text panels with focus on San Diego History and Points of Interest. Very good clean condition. When folded, rear panel provides room for an address (both "To" and "From" with instruction "To Mail Place 1 ½ Cent Stamp Here." An uncommon item in virtually unused condition. Item #54096
