New York. New York Theatre Program Corporation. 1919.
Theatre program, 7 3/4 x 5 inches; 20 pp plus covers. A steady stream of vaudeville artists and their routines are featured in the program, which also includes the "Palace News Kinogram" (silent film newsreel). Extensive advertising, including (in color) Djer-Kiss and Helmar Turkish Cigarettes. Good clean condition. The program is notable for two full-page advertisements featuring recording stars of the era: African-American vocalist Bert Williams at the front of the program ("Exclusive Columbia Artist") and, at the rear, a grotesquely contorted Eddie Cantor in blackface ("Exclusive Emerson Star"). An uncommon vaudeville program. Item #53491
