Very good condition, light toning to horizontal fold. "Detail map of Singapore Island, on which Singapore is situated, showing naval base in Jahore (sic) Strait, RAF airport, railroad and other strategic points." Beneath the map are two photo illustrations: "one of the huge guns guarding Britain's great fortress" and "Reinforcements for Singapore." This map was published just days before the Japanese took Singapore on 15 February 1942. Item #53382
