Separations at fold intersections, light wear to two edges; toning to one panel of verso from scrapbook glue, 'Map of Mexico City, Mexico' written on verso of map (not affecting map); map is clean and bright. Brightly colored pictorial map designed by the Guatemalan artist Carlos Merida (1891-1984). Inset map of the valley surrounding Mexico City. "The motifs of the border consist of Aztec and colonial symbols of the names of suburban places." The cartouche contains a Business Directory of 21 places which are depicted on the map. Item #52579
