Color bird's eye view pictographic / pictorial map, 22 x 17 3/4 inches, color photo illustrations on verso, folding to mailing pamphlet 9 x 5 1/2 inches, multiple fold as issued. Pinhole separations at 2 fold intersections, tiny puncture to lower left panel, multiple circular indentations to back cover resulting in overall light wrinkling to unfolded map. Remains bright and attractive. A brightly colored comic map by Don Bloodgood who illustrated several of the Pic-Tour maps produced by H. S. Crocker. The upper right corner features a small map of the Hawaiian Islands. The center of the sheet features a detailed bird's-eye view map of Oahu highlighting beaches, parks, natural landmarks, airports, etc. The lower half features a detailed street map of Waikiki Beach with pictographs of apartments, theatres, hotels, etc. Verso includes color photo illustrations such as the National Cemetery, Mormon Temple, Nuuanu Pali and Lookout, etc. Item #52488
