Parts 1 - 5 in original paper wrappers, 30 single page and 5 centrefold chromolithographic plates, black and white in-text illustrations, unpaginated (each 16 pages including illustrations), 7 3/4 x 11 3/4 inches (Part One is 8 x 11 3/4 inches). Two chips to the fore edge of Part One, some soiling to two front covers, interiors in fine condition. Stunning color plates by Charles Graham showing all aspects of the World's Columbian Exposition. Of particular note is the centrefold (loosely laid in) of Part One - a beautiful "Official Birdseye View of the World's Columbian Expositon (sic), Chicago, U.S.A. 1893" with the lakeshore crowded with boats. The other color illustrations include buildings, events and exhibitions. Each booklet contains a total of eight color plates - or seven for those booklets featuring a double page centrefold.
