Panoramic bird's eye view of the city, on thin card, sheet 5 3/8 x 35 inches, verso is blank except for printed address area and brief descriptions on the Port of Seattle, Export and Import Business and Public Docks. Some creasing from rolling, one inch repaired tear in image (in sky area about one third from left edge), some light chipping / creasing to edges; would display very attractively. An unusual panoramic view of Seattle from Elliott Bay, prepared for use as a mailer, this copy unfolded. Smith Tower is seen at the center of the image. Export and import statistics for the year of 1917 are noted on verso. Frank Nowell worked as a photographer in Alaska and Washington, and was the official photographer for the Alaska-Pacific-Yukon Exposition. Item #51863
