Not listed in the series Children's Popular Tales, to which it belongs; possibly number 14, as thirteen titles from this series are given on the rear cover. Also listed are twelve titles from Nurse Rockbaby's Story Books. Price of booklet is given as one penny plain and two pennies colored. Code on rear cover indicates 1859 date. Slight discoloration to covers; booklet in very good clean condition overall. An incredibly violent children's story which ends with the protagonist being attacked by a large spider. Although Tom Thumb "drew his sword and fought courageously, yet the spider's poisonous breath overcame him." Alas and alack. Item #51840
