First Edition. 10 numbers of the monthly magazine for 1969; missing the August and September issues. Magazine 8.5 x 5.5 inches; 16 pp each. Address of subscriber on rear cover of several issues; scribbled change of address on one rear cover; ink underlining and bracketing to one article; small abrasion to cover of January issue; otherwise very good condition. Articles by various writers. The collection features one Rand article published serially: "What is Romanticism?" I, II, III (complete); additional Rand articles complete in a single issue: "The War of Liberation in Hollywood" (with Erika Holzer); "Brief Comments;" and "The ‘Inexplicable Personal Alchemy'" (ink underlining and bracketing). Also a review of Lillian Gish's autobiography by Frank O'Connor "as told to Ayn Rand." In addition are the four-part "Nazi Politics" and the two-part "Nazism Versus Reason" (both complete) by Rand disciple Leonard Peikoff. A useful collection of Rand's and Peikoff's writings for those drawn to Objectivist philosophy. Overall, very good condition, with issues noted. Item #51501
