Folded booklet 9 x 4 inches unfolding to sheet size 9 x 12 inches with three numbered pages on each side of the sheet, for a total of 46 pp. Two page map of the route; numerous photographic illustrations. Very light rippling along top edge, otherwise good condition. The booklet provides detailed information for the prospective traveller regarding the various tours available to the interior of Alaska. Photographs picture the scenery, rail routes and steamers involved; length of time for touring varies depending on destinations, but travelers could count on several weeks of sight-seeing. There are several pages of testimonials from delighted travelers who have embarked on a White Pass and Yukon Route tour; for example: "It was the most enjoyable trip of my life. Every possible courtesy was shown to the tourists throughout the entire trip." Scenery on the interior of Alaska was judged by several travelers as far superior to that offered through coastal cruises.
