Montreal. Canadian National Railways. No date. Ca. 1927.
Color map on sheet approximately 17 x 24 1/2 inches tipped on to thin card wrappers 4 x 9 inches. Blank verso. Map has been poorly folded at some point distorting somewhat the jacket's uniformity and producing a couple of short diagonal creases on one panel; when the map is unfolded this problem is minimized. Map displays well. The map depicts in bird's-eye perspective the route of the "triangle tour" of British Columbia: travel by train from Vancouver east to Jasper Park Lodge, then head west to Prince Rupert on the coast, returning by steamer to Vancouver. Sepia photos depict the scenic attractions of the region. The map presents a vivid and colorful image of the mountainous Canadian Rockies and Pacific coastline. Wording on front of jacket states "Supplement to the Canadian Rockies Folder issued by Canadian National Railways." Item #50458
