Stamped "courtesy of..." to front cover, light wear to spine, very good condition. An informational booklet produced by the Board of Supervisors of Riverside County to encourage settlement: "Multitudes of people are searching for new home locations...Riverside County in Southern California is not only a place where a living can be made, but where a life can be lived to the fullest...Paved motor highways lead out in all directions, past scenes of natural beauty, through ranches and groves to homes of real contentment." The centrefold map shows the larger Los Angeles area from the Mexican border to beyond Santa Barbara. There is much information about the area and the townships, including population of each. This brochure was apparently issued over a period of years, with the same basic structure but updated statistics. Item #50365
