First Edition. Black and white photo illustrations and two black and white bird's-eye view maps, 167pp, 9 x 12 1/4 inches, cloth covered boards (hardbound). Light wear and soiling to covers; interior in good to fair condition, two pages (23/24 and 47/45) were loose and, now with wear and short tears to edges, have been taped back in rather crudely, tears to edges of a few pages and a few pages with longer tears but all information still intact, occasional soiling. Wonderfully informative book about all aspects of life in Oregon in the 1910s including industries, biographies of noted people, counties etc. The book features two attractive bird's eye views "Perspective View of the Upper and Lower Sections of the Columbia River Highway and Part of Willamette Valley Northwestern Oregon" (pp8-9) and "Perspective Map showing Pacific Highway and California-Central Oregon Route with their connecting roads and laterals" (pp13-14), both by noted Oregon artist and mapmaker Fred Routledge.
