Color pictographic / pictorial map, 23 1/4 x 27 1/4 inches on sheet size 24 1/4 x 28 1/4 inches, archivally backed on linen. 1 1/2 inch area of paper loss filled at left upper edge (outside map area); overall very good condition. Brightly colored pictorial map of Cape Cod in a style reminiscent of WPA wood-engravings, the decorative border featuring images of the island and sea-faring life. This poster map was issued in several sizes and color schemes by the Town Crier Shop; this copy is the largest size that we have come across. Item #49726
