Seven thin strips, 2 x 5.25 inches each, with twelve different decals in color (lambs, chickens rabbits, etc.) to be used to decorate hard boiled Easter eggs. On verso of the strip the distributor of the decals is given: Farmers Dairy Association (Portland, OR). The instructions on the back of the strips state: Cut Designs Apart With Scissors, following which, Dip In Water, Then Slide Off Design, finally Press Down With Soft Cloth Until Transfer Is In Perfect Contact With Egg. A Union Label on verso identifies the decals as a product of the Amalgamated Lithographers of America. Overall, interesting ephemeral decals (1950s) in very good condition, intended as wholesome recreation for youngsters--if all went well. Item #49677
