Darkened areas along fold lines are shadows in photograph and DO NOT APPEAR ON ACTUAL MAP. Light toning two single panel on map side; very good condition. One side is a dramatic image "The United States Marines", a color illustration by N. Sickler (?) OP16 Navy Department, of Marines in battle; beneath this is descriptive text and illustrations of the battles at Lake Champlain 1776, Tripoli 1805, Santiago 1898 and Belleau Wood 1918. The other side of the poster is a two-color map "Occupation Begins" showing Japan and Korea with 3 photo images at left. Item #49319
